Exhibitions/Seminars
Photomonth East London
An international photography festival. Radical London is a major theme flowing through Photomonth 2012 with talks at Bishopsgate Institute and exhibitions in Shoreditch and Spitalfields. There are also more than 150 exhibitions in galleries and venues that demonstrate the depth and diversity of contemporary photography. Major events include the Photo-Open at the Rich Mix, the Portfolio Review at the V&A Museum of Childhood, the Photomonth Lecture at the Whitechapel Gallery and the Photofair in Spitalfields Traders Market on 6th and 8th October, where one of our members Vera Stevens has a stall, and it would be great if some of you could support Vera by visiting her stall.
In addition a programme of talks, walks and workshops provides opportunities for everyone to engage with photography. For more information please visit http://2012.photomonth.org.
