What’s coming up tonight and next week at the Club
Tonight is Round 1 of the Mono Print Competition. Next week is hand in for Round 2 of the Colour Print competition.
Our Next Camera Club Outing – Saturday 16 November 2013
We will be going to Lingfield Race Course for their Churchill Stakes meeting, featuring the Real Ale and Cider Festival (live music and giant darts!). Doors open at 10:30 and the first of 7 races is at 12:30. The last race is at 3:45 pm. There is quite a variance in ticket prices. On the day the cost to over 60s is £13 and for those under 60 it is £21. There is an advance ticket price of £18 but you have to pay a £1.50 booking fee so no real saving. As we will be getting there under our own steam and also have no idea what the weather will be like in mid-November, lets see what the forecast is for the Saturday before committing ourselves to what could either be a very enjoyable visit or a damp squib.
Christmas Dinner
This has now been booked at Ferrari’s in East Street, Bromley. In the next week or so a list will be on the noticeboards with a request that a £10 deposit per person be paid to Jeff.
The menu can be found here: http://www.ferrarisrestaurants.co.uk/food-and-menus
Quiz Night
After a closely contested quiz the winners were “The Soft Focus Group”, but there were only 6 points difference between all the teams, so congratulations to all who took part.
What’s on this weekend
