It is also hand in for the Annual Exhibition. You can enter 9 colour prints, 9 mono prints and 9 PDIs.

Next Camera Club Outing
There is an opportunity to visit Thurrock Football Club on Sunday 2 April in the afternoon and get close to the action for some good sports photos. Paul Lehane’s son-in-law is playing in the Trophyland Cup Final (Essex Corinthian League) and apart from supporting him it is a good opportunity to get close to the action right at the side of the pitch and you are able to walk round the whole of the ground and take photos everywhere.
Kick-off is 2:30pm and the ground opens at 1:30pm. It’s easy to get to Thurrock FC (Ship Lane, Aveley, Essex RM19 1YN) as it’s just off the M25 taking the Thurrock shopping Centre (Lakeside) turn off. There is an entrance fee of £10. There is also a bar, food, and toilets. If you are interested in going, just meet at the ground.

Immerse yourself in the history of London’s second river in this retrospective exhibition showing photo journalist Peter Marshall’s photographic homage to the River Lea. See scenes spanning four decades, which chart the river’s transition from a bustling industrial zone into decline and a forgotten backwater through to the present day. BMW Tate Live Exhibition: Ten Days, Six Nights – Friday 24 March to Sunday 2 April
No, it’s not some weird European erotic film, but a week and a half of live art in and around Tate Modern’s tanks. There’s loads going on throughout the week, with the daytimes all free and the evening performances ticketed at various prices. The full list of what’s happening can be found by clicking here.
Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium’s last ever dog race – Saturday 25 March – 6:30pm
This Saturday will see the final ever dog race at Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium before it’s torn down. There are super cheap deals on offer to draw punters in (three quid for entry and a free alcoholic drink), plus it’s like nothing else you’ll find in London, so head down to Wimbledon this weekend for a last chance to partake in a slice of history.
The Art of the Brick: DC Super Heroes – on now and until the end of the month
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a truckload of Lego that has made its way to the South Bank. A purpose-built tent has popped-up by the London Eye this month for ‘The Art of the Brick: DC Super Heroes’, a collection of larger-than-life sculptures of iconic comic book characters constructed entirely in Lego. Artist Nathan Sawaya used almost 2,000,000 bricks to recreate the heroes and villains of your childhood. It’s like seeing life in 8-bit. See website for ticket prices.
