THIS WEEK AT THE CLUB 

Mono Processing Live with Joe Houghton.

7.45pm, Bromley United Services Club. This meeting will also be available on Zoom (just in case petrol is an issue for any members). The Zoom link and login details will be sent out in advance of the meeting but please do come down to the USC if you are able to.

MEMBER IMAGES NEEDED
There’s still time to see your images edited by Joe – he will then compare them to your own final mono image. Please submit one original RAW or DNG colour image, plus a jpeg of it edited to mono, to Clive (programsec@bromleycameraclub.org.uk) by the end of tomorrow (Tuesday 5th). If the files are too large, then WeTransfer (www.wetransfer.com) can be used with the same email address.

It is also hand in for Round 1 of the PDI competition. Please email a maximum of three images to Brian (pdisecretary@bromleycameraclub.org.uk)
   
MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

This year, we are using an online sign-up form for new members and existing members’ renewals. Please follow this link to join: https://bromleycameraclub.org.uk/club-information/membership/ 

Once you have signed up, the fee of £45 for existing members and £30 for new members should be paid to Bromley Camera Club, NatWest, sort code: 600402, account number: 42292212.

This is the official club page and is used for announcements, news and general club info. Only admins can post. 

Bromley Camera Club Members’ Group 
This is a new group. Anyone can join, anyone can post or comment. This is where most discussion between members should happen. Please join us, share your photos and join in the discussions on other members’ posts. 

Bromley Camera Club Private Group
As the name suggests, this is a private group. To join it needs admin approval and only members can see other members, their posts and comments.   

OUTINGS
Saturday 9th October: Day trip to Cambridge Please book your own tickets on the 8:42 train from Kings Cross, which arrives in Cambridge at 9:30.  Your return time is completely up to you – some will be aiming for the 18:20 but feel free to stay later. Please email Charlotte (secretary@bromleycameraclub.org.uk)  to confirm your attendance.

Saturday 23rd – Tuesday 26th October: Photography holiday to Dorset

Friends/family are welcome to join us if they are sharing a room with a member.    

DAVID DULAKE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
Sadly, we received the news that former member, David Dulake, passed away recently. His funeral will be at Hither Green Cemetery at 1pm on Tuesday 26th October, followed by a wake from around 2.30pm at 57 The Chase, Bromley. If you plan to attend, please email Brian (pdisecretary@bromleycameraclub.org.uk).

Thursday 4 November – “Working in the grey space” with Yasmin Crawford BSc, MA, ARPS
“An exploration of perspective, complexities and multidisciplinary collaborations, to create imagery that explains, reveals and connects us to the ambiguous and unknown.”
It is also hand-in for the phone-only competition.
