Tonight is Round 1 of the PDI competition.  Next week (17 October) is our Quiz Night.  This is good fun which tests your knowledge of everything. Next week is also hand in for Round 1 of the Mono Print Competition.  And don’t forget our outing to Hastings on 19 October.

We would like to have more recent images on the website, so if your images gained 18- 20 marks in a Club competition you are invited to send a PDI of that image to webmaster@bromleycameraclub.org.uk so that Greg can introduce them onto the Home page in a rolling series of images .

 

Galleries

We also invite you to add a gallery of your work to the website.  Please send up to 9 of your best images, as PDIs, to the webmaster. All PDIs should be in the standard Club competition format i.e. 1400 x 1050 pixels, sRGB. If you wish to copyright your images, please do so before sending them in.

 

Photography Exhibitions

International Garden Photography of the Year exhibition now on at Kew Gardens from now until 3 November.  And from 30 December to 14 February 2014 at Chartwell. If you are unable to visit in person some of the stunning images can be viewed on IGPOTY slideshow on the BBC website.

 

Camera Club Exhibitions

Old Coulsdon Camera Club – Annual Exhibition of Prints and Digital Images over the weekend of 19 and 20 October in St John’s Church, Canons Hill, Old Coulsdon, CR5 1EH.  The Exhibition will be open from 12 noon until 5pm on Saturday and from 2-4pm on Sunday.  Their Awards Evening will take place on Tuesday 15th October at their Club Meeting Room in Cameron Hall, Canons Hill CR5 1EH (behind Congregational Church) at 7.30pm for chat and light snacks.  Martin Faiers, their Judge will give his comments on a selection of their work and present awards from 8pm.

 

Selsdon Camera Club – Annual Exhibition of members’ prints as well as projection of DPI images and AV sequences on Saturday 12 October. Opening hours: 10 am to 4 pm at Methodist Halls, Limpsfield Road, Sanderstead, CR2 9EE.
