THIS WEEK AT THE CLUB 

Thursday 20 October
Presentation – Sports Photography with Andrew Moss
Andrew is a local Beckenham-based professional photographer specialising in sport, plus location and street photography and being accredited by the International Sports Press Association and the Sports Journalists Association, can speak with authority on the subject. Andrew also organises sports shoots as part of the Nikon School team.

It is also hand-in for the Mono PDI Competition Round 1

OUTINGS
Saturday 22 October: Woolwich to Greenwich O2 walk. Meet at Woolwich Arsenal station at 10.30am. Please let Steve Jones know if you are attending. Friday 28 October: Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at Natural History Museum. Please book for the 2pm slot and let David Lewis know if you are attending.    

CHRISTMAS MEAL
This year’s Christmas meal will be at the Cow & Pig on Thursday 15 December. If you’d like to join us, please see Charlotte on Thursday evening to pay your £5 deposit and choose your meal from the menu. The total cost is £29.95 plus service for three courses.    

SLF PDI COMPETITION
Bromley is competing in the first round of SLF PDI competition on Monday 31st October. If you would like to attend, it will be held at South London Photographic Society, Baptist Hall, Perry Rise, Forest Hill SE23 2QL. Please contact Julie for more information.    

MEMBERSHIP FEES

This year, we are using an online sign-up form for new members and existing members’ renewals. Please follow this link to join: https://bromleycameraclub.org.uk/club-information/membership/ 

Once you have signed up, the fee of £60 for existing members and £30 for new members should be paid to Bromley Camera Club via bank transfer. Please use your name as reference.    

USING PHOTO ENTRY TO SUBMIT PDIS

This is a new system that we’ll be using for all PDI submissions – it’s easy to use and means that members can enter competitions early and also see a record of previous entries. Please see the user guide that Clive has put together for more information.

All members will be automatically added to the system unless you contact Clive to say otherwise. If you are not using Photo Entry then you will be unable to enter competitions from 17 October.
