Annual Exhibition – 15/29 May 2013

Is rapidly approaching.  The Steward’s roster is available at the USC to sign.  Contributions by way of raffle prizes would be great.  We would also like someone to help with food on the Awards evening (16 May).  Lastly help would be appreciated with setting up on 15 May and taking down on 29 May.

Continental Weekend Away – 27/30 September 2013

Last chance to put your names down for the visit to the Belgian Ardennes.  Local pick up points and return ferry crossings to Calais, staying at the Floreal Hotel in La Roche en Ardenne.  Full details of the included itinerary and booking form can be picked up at the Club this evening.  There is a £75 non-refundable deposit per person payable and we need to give numbers to the organising company by the end of April.

The Club’s Next Outing – Saturday 6 July 2013

Is a coach trip to Dungeness.  We leave Bromley South  at 9 a.m.  Travelling to the Rare Breeds Society, Woodchurch to see rare breeds and raptor flying display.  We then continue our journey to Dungeness, stopping at the Pilot Inn for lunch.  The Pilot Inn is well known for its fish (maybe because of its closeness to the power station!).  If you would like to eat at the Pilot Inn please let Betty, Peter Ergis or me know as we will need to book a table.  We then spend the afternoon at Dungeness  photographing boats, shacks, plants, shore, steam railway, etc.  Another alternative is to visit to the RSPB Reserve.    We plan to leave Dungeness at about 6 p.m.  The cost will be about £25.00 which includes a donation to the Rare Breeds Society.  Lunch is, of course, extra.   If interested please put your name on the list at the USC.
