CONGRATULATIONS TO PAUL LEHANE
Paul has had the above image included in the 14th edition of the Landscape Photographer of the Year book which was published on 28 October by Ilex Press. The image was shot in the Silvertown area of London and has been turned upside down so that the balconies become cages as they might have felt during lockdown. Converting it to monochrome gave it an even more dynamic and graphic feel.
Our club Christmas meal will be at The Oak, Widmore Road, on Thursday 16 December. The cost is £29.95 for a three course meal or £24.95 for two courses. Please see the menu here.
Charlotte will be collecting £10 deposits and menu choices at the next two club meetings (Thursday 4 and 11 November) so please bring cash along to book your place at the meal.
Saturday 27 November – Royal Docks and City Airport
Explore London’s unique and historic water space as well as some prime locations for photographing planes taking off and landing at City Airport.
Sunday 5 December – Christmas in London
We’ll be visiting some of London’s most Christmassy locations – e.g. Covent Garden, Leicester Square’s markets and Carnaby Street – with an earlyish start to hopefully avoid some of the crowds.
Please email Charlotte (email@example.com) if you would like to join any of these outings.
