We will email again before Thursday to confirm either a new judge or an amended evening with the competition postponed to a later date. MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS This year, we are using an online sign-up form for new members and existing members’ renewals. BEXLEY BATTLE RESULTS Unfortunately, we came second…out of two! We won the PDI round but lost both print rounds. A special mention, however, to two members who received 20s on the night: Clive Williams for ‘Girl in a Hat’ and ‘Shades of Greta’ Paul Lehane for ‘Out of the Blue’ Congratulations Clive and Paul! Bromley Camera Club Members’ Group This is a new group. Anyone can join, anyone can post or comment. This is where most discussion between members should happen. Please join us, share your photos and join in the discussions on other members’ posts. Bromley Camera Club Private Group As the name suggests, this is a private group. To join it needs admin approval and only members can see other members, their posts and comments. OUTINGS Saturday 9th October: Day trip to Cambridge Please book your own tickets on the 8:42 train from Kings Cross, which arrives in Cambridge at 9:30. Tickets are currently £18.80 return for an adult if booked via the National Rail website. Your return time is completely up to you – some will be aiming for the 18:20 but feel free to stay later. Friends/family are welcome to join us if they are sharing a room with a member. DAVID DULAKE Sadly, we received the news that former member, David Dulake, passed away recently, aged 92. He was a member for around 25 years and served as the Slide Secretary for a number of years. No funeral information has been confirmed yet but we will pass that on when we have it from his son, Simon.
