OUTINGS Sunday 5 December – Christmas in London We’ll be visiting some of London’s most Christmassy locations. Meet on the South Bank underneath the Hungerford/Golden Jubilee bridges at 11am. The route will then take us to Somerset House’s ice skating, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square and finish with the Christmas lights on Regent Street, Carnaby Street and Oxford Street. CHRISTMAS MEAL Our club Christmas meal will be at The Oak, Widmore Road, on Thursday 16 December (arrival from 7pm, eating at 7.30pm). The cost is £29.95 for a three course meal or £24.95 for two courses. Please see the menu here. All £10 deposits have now been paid; please bring the remaining balance (£19.95 or £14.95) with you on the evening. To ensure the safety of all attendees, it would be great if you could do a lateral flow test before the meal; they can be ordered for free via this government website but there will be no requirement to show a negative test result at the dinner.
