The 5th Annual Tweed Run through London – Saturday 13 April 2013
A celebration of old fashioned values as up to 400 ladies and chaps cycle through central London in high fashion and on a range of antique velocipedes. The exact route is not published, but suggested viewing spots are as below. All times are very approximate:

Inter-club, individual competitions and exhibition at St. John’s Church Hall, Eden Park Avenue, Beckenham BR3 3JN. Doors open at 1.00 pm for entry to the print exhibition. Judging starts 1 pm, finishing approx 6 pm. Ticket price £5 to include tea or coffee and biscuits.

Photography Course

The Photographers Workshop are running the next Creative Portraiture for Beginners course on Tuesday 16th of this month, and currently have three places remaining. Learning how to pose the models/subjects and put them at their ease, how to make the most of your environment, and how composition can make the difference between a simple snap and a work of art – are all important elements covered on this course. Students are encouraged to share ideas with each other in order to develop their own creative skills. Ideally, for the class to have a good mix of ideas we try to run each course with a full complement of six students so we are currently offering the remaining three places on the course at a discounted rate to Club members – usual cost £95.00 – reduced to £85.00 to encourage uptake.

Continental Weekend Away – 27/30 September 2013
Visiting the stunning Belgian Ardennes. Local pick up points and return ferry crossings to Calais, staying at the Floreal Hotel in La Roche en Ardenne. Full details of the included itinerary and booking form can be picked up at the Club this evening. There is a £75 non-refundable deposit per person payable and we would like numbers and deposits before the end of April please.
