Awards Evening – Thursday 22nd May
I look forward to seeing you all, together with your friends and family, at the Awards Evening tonight which is taking place on the 4th Floor of Bromley Central Library starting at 7:30 pm. The Mayor (and Mayoress) of Bromley will be presenting the cups and certificates to the winners and the Judge (Ron Tear) will be commenting on his choice of winning photos. After the formal bit of the evening we will have a chance to chat over a finger buffet and a drink. If you are able to donate a prize for the raffle at the Awards Evening please bring them along to the Hall before 7:00 pm.
There is a new free exhibition of photographs by Bob Collins at the Museum of London on now until 3 July. Entitled “Observing the Crowd” his work includes pictures ranging from major events to candid reflections on daily life in the City. More details at www.museumoflondon.org.uk. I have not been to this exhibition but it sounds as if it may give us some clues as to the theme for the summer project.
