What’s on at the Club tonight and soon
As Steve recently advised you tonight we will have an “any questions” session on anything to do with photography – a bit like Gardeners Question Time. So please ignore what I said in last week’s Newsletter. On 1 May we will have a members evening when Jeff King will give a presentation on his recent visit to India and John Gordon on his Siberian railway journey.
RPS Licentiateship Assessment Panel
As Roger Ford mentioned at a recent Club evening he is now on the RPS Licentiateship Assessment Panel and will be conducting an LRPS advisory evening in London on 7th May. Shinichi Adachi Solo Photography Exhibition ‘Calling’
A collection of portrait photographs centering around the relationship between people and a classic telephone. The models were encouraged to express themselves and this allows the viewers to imagine the circumstances in which the models found themselves. Shinichi is a London-based photographer who works in both Film and Digital media. Apart from producing portraits he is very active as a street photographer.

Tall Sailing Ship to Pass Through Tower Bridge
Just a note that the tall sailing ship, the Alexander Von Humboldt II is due to visit London for a few days and will pass through Tower Bridge.

London to Brighton Jaguar Run
Approximately 300, mainly classic, Jaguars will leave Old Royal Naval College (Cutty Sark Gardens, Greenwich, London, SE10 9LW) between 8.30 and 11am. The aim is to enjoy driving their beloved cars on the most scenic route possible to Madeira Drive, Brighton.
