Some amendments to the published programme

Firstly, our next meeting at the USC will be Thursday 6 June and not as published in the programme as 7 June, likewise the Members’ Evening will also take place on 6 June.  Secondly the Photoshop Course scheduled for the week commencing 10 June has been cancelled as has the Country Walk on 29 June.

Our next outing is the coach trip to Dungeness with a stop en route to the raptor flying display plus pub lunch on Saturday 6 July.

Congratulations

Double at the London Salon

 – It is unusual for a photographer to have both her photograph and a photograph which includes her accepted in a major photographic salon.

However this is exactly what has happened to Angela Ford ARPS. Her image ‘Family Gathering’ has been accepted for exhibition by the London Salon of Photography. At the same time, her husband Roger Ford FRPS has had his image ‘Five Alive’ awarded a London Salon Medal.  This image is also a family gathering, featuring their son William and Angela’s hand.

The opening exhibition of the London Salon is at Fairfield Halls, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey CR9 1DGC between 10 – 21 June.     Further details can be found on www.londonsalon.org.   Many congratulations to Angela and Roger.
