Nature Walk – Saturday 10 August

We will meet at Five Arch Bridge at Footscray Meadows at 10:00am for a walk along the River Cray and finish at the White Cross Inn around 12:30pm.

Good chance of seeing a kingfisher (flying away from you at high speed), also yellow wagtail, little egret and the usual waterfowl.

Park in Leafield Lane, which is a turning off the A223 North Cray Road heading north from Ruxley Corner roundabout towards Bexley. This turning is approx 100 yards past North Cray Church on your left. If you miss it you need to continue then double back at the next roundabout, go past Leafield Lane until you can turn right, or just go straight back to Ruxley Corner, and try again.

Five Arch Bridge is approx 300 yards across the meadows opposite North Cray Church.
