THIS WEEK AT THE CLUB 

Thursday 16 February
Presentation – “Chasing the Light” with Kieran Metcalf

A widely regarded landscape photographer, Kieran is ranked number 8 out of 200 on the Zoom Club Software lectures list and as well as telling the stories behind some of his images, Kieran will also share the processes he uses both in the field and in the edit.

It is also hand-in for Colour & Mono Print Competition Round 2. Prints will be displayed at the USC but please also use PhotoEntry to submit JPEG images of each print and email them to Brian: membership@bromleycameraclub.org.uk. The committee are intending to project the images at the same time as the prints are being judged.

COMMITTEE VACANCIES

There are two vacancies to join the Executive Committee for the 2023/24 season onwards:

Programme Secretary
Responsibilities include: Organising the annual programme of speakers, workshops and competitions. Clive has already begun working on the 23/24 programme and is happy to support the new Programme Secretary. This role could also be divided between a couple of members. Attending committee meetings (around 6 per year, held on Zoom). Club Secretary 
Responsibilities include: Sending the weekly newsletter through Mail Chimp. Charlotte will provide full training on how to use this system. Attending committee meetings (around 6 per year, held on Zoom), writing agendas and taking minutes. If you are interested, or would like any more information, please speak to any member of the committee. 
     
KCPA DIAMOND JUBILEE 2023
Bromley will be entering a PDI panel at the following competition. Full information is below for anyone wishing to attend.

   

UPCOMING MEETINGS

Colour & Mono Print Competition round 2

Judge: Philip Pound
Prints will be displayed at the USC and judged on the night by Philip. However, please also use PhotoEntry to submit JPEG images of each print.

Thursday 2 March
Presentation – Stephanie Johnson Creative ICM

Based in the USA, Stephanie is one of the world’s premier experts of Intentional Camera Movement, which she has recently started combining with multiple exposure. Stephanie is the founder and creator of ICM Photography Magazine, a contributor to which is Bill Ward, one of the most popular speakers we have had in the last few years.
It is also hand-in for Colour PDI Competition round 3.
