TONIGHT AT THE CLUB

We will be meeting in person at the USC at 7.45pm this evening to view and vote on the summer projects. As we have not been together for a long time, the committee will provide a few drinks for members in celebration.

It is also hand in for the Summer Star PDI competition. Entries to be submitted to Brian, the PDI secretary (pdisecretary@bromleycameraclub.org.uk) today. Late entries may be disallowed.

PLEASE NOTE: Julie will be bringing in some of the prints she has been holding, although she will be retaining some for inter-Club competitions. So please bring bags or boxes to take yours home in.

·      Chairs in our room at the USC will be spaced out.

Thursday 7 October – Presentation with Joe Houghton entitled “Mono Processing Live” The October 7 presentation will be an interactive evening where Joe Houghton will edit members’ images live during the evening using Lightroom and possibly Silver FX Pro. We therefore need at least 12 members to each send 2 images to: programsec@bromleycameraclub.org.uk. The first image should be an original RAW file and the second should the same image that has been edited and converted to black and white as a final jpeg – this jpeg should ideally be an image that has been entered in a past PDI or print competition, although this isn’t compulsory. Joe will then apply his editing expertise to the original RAW file and compare his results to the members’ final images. It is also hand in for PDI Competition Round 1.
